Awesome place

Just loved the beer ( flagship cream ale a low bitterness beer ) and the pizza and the lovely garden. The inside of the house is beautiful. This is how to have a great brewery.

The beer garden is lovely in the afternoon as the sun goes down.

Fantastic selection of craft ales. The beer tender was knowledgeable and helpful. If you can't make up your mind, try the beer flights. They brew on premise and the ales couldn't be fresher or more distinct. A must on any craft beer tour.

Small operation still, but good value for your money on samples that come with a free glass.

Grey Sail is pure fun whether you go in the summer or the winter. It’s the only brewery I’ve ever been where the seating is divided into different rooms that comprise inside of a charming colonial home. As a result, it feels super comfortable and easy to relax. If you’re inside there’s a room with darts! If that’s not your jam there’s board games galore. If you go in the summer, there’s outdoor games to try a hand at like bocce.For beers, there’s a good variety to keep everyone happy. You can grab a flight and try 4 if you can’t decide. I’d recommend trying the Flagship Cream Ale, the Kegnog Milkshake IPA (my favorite one on draft!), and the Dave’s Coffee Stout. If you’re into hoppy IPAs the Captain’s Daughter is one of the beers that they’re well-known for in the area. The have guest taps on too, so if you’ve tried everything they make you can still stop by and see if there’s anything new. Here’s to hoping that they experiment with some sour beers soon!

A brewery with solid beers in a unique atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

I have always loved this brewery. The cozy house feeling of the taproom is very unique. The only downside of our last visit is the entire building was fludded with the smell of a cat litter box. This is the first time it has ever smelled like this but it was very offputtibg. We eventually got accustomed to the smell but still... Clean it guys... Aside from this I would recommend the great beers they offer along with their every changing guest beer list.

An amazing brewery with an awesome staff and even better beer. Swing by and feel like a part of the family, while experiencing the best beer in the area.

Excellent experience for those who like beer. The staff was friendly, helpful and made great suggetions. I especially loved the the Daves Coffee Stout

The Staff at Grey Sail Brewing are friendly and great you warmly. It's nice to know they've got a dark beer year around. Not a lot of the other breweries around have a porter or stout year around. So my Hat's off to the owners and staff. Don't forget to try the pizza cooked outside by Stone face oven.

The captain's daughter was delightful. Arrived a little after they opened on a Friday. It was busy. Parking was NOT good. Once the small lots are full I have no idea where to park. Staff could have been a bit friendlier.

If I could give these folks zero stars I would. This is hopefully my last Grey Sail Beer... These guys are out hopping themselves, the beer tasted more like dog vomit than beer. These guys are not worth state funds; the Brewers are living in a tasteless bubble. Please, please go anywhere else to enjoy a cold beverage. I recommend the short drive to Whalers Brewery. It perpetuates the stereotype that blue plates have no taste or culture.

This micro brewery makes great beer, especially if you like IPA's. Michelle is excellent, customer service is fantastic. Tasting house is comfortable and clean, with nice outdoor garden seating if you prefer to sip a pour outside.

Captains Daughter is my Favorite Beer bar none. Unfortunately its pricey.

What a cool taproom! Located in the old owner's house of the former factory nextdoor currently housing the brewery, this site is a fun place to sample an array of great beers. Cool atmosphere!

I ate pizza and cheese curds. The beer was good and I donated to the Camp Fire by drinking it.

Reservations are a must! The wait staff was excellent. The pizza 🍕 excellent as well. The beer garden is very quiet and calming. It's like you're in your own little world 🌎 You won't regret it!

Stopped by here on the way to Newport to pick up some Captain's Daughter. One of the best beers around and a family favorite. I arrived at 3 on the dot and it didn't take long for the place to develop a line to the tasting area. Still the service was great. They do have some shirts and sweatshirts for merchandise. Small but ample parking and worth the trip. I don't live in Rhode Island but I will make the trip as often as needed to get one of the best beers around.

The tasting room is really nice. The outdoor area is really nice and get have a pizza oven where you can order small pizzas that are great for groups. Lots of games inside and out. The beer selection is the main feature and there's lots to try. The flights are an inexpensive way to try lots of different types.

We went here for part of a bachelorette weekend and had a blast. The tasting is a great value buy a cup $5-$9 and get 5 tasting samples. Everyone loved the beers and the people working were great.

Large selection of great tasting beer. Parking is limited. Worth going. Most will enjoy it. Check out their website for hours and more details. Will be going there again.

I love this place and the beer, especially Captains daughter! My only complaint is that when it comes to Captains daughter, the stores in Northern R.I. run out of it quickly.

A great brewery in a great town. They have many different brews on tap. Grey Sailing also has a very friendly knowledgeable staff about beer. A good place to visit if you are an IPA fan.

We love this place. It's a fun place to go to grab a beer. There was have their beers on tap plus several guest brews on tap. In the side yard you can play bocce ball or cornhole. There's also Pizza served out there. And it is delicious also. Stop in for a beer.
